Wikifactory, an online platform for collaboratively creating physical products, has secured $2.5 million in pre-series A funding from existing shareholders and new investors including, Seier Capital, the investment vehicle of Lars Seier Christensen. This brings Wikifactory's funding to date to a total of nearly $8 million.

Danzer, a hardwood company that specializes in wood from temperate forests in the northern hemisphere, recorded revenue of EUR 170 million in 2021. Adjusted for the divestiture of a sawmill in Bradford, Pa., which was disposed of in April 2021, this represents a year-on-year increase of 25% (2020: EUR 136 million). 

 

Furniture and home furnishings sales grew modestly in April, reflecting the overall picture for retail, according to advance estimates from the Commerce Department. But even with slow growth, these numbers remain well ahead of the 2021 pace, according to a Furniture Today report.
