NORTHFIELD, Vt. – WallGoldfinger Furniture’s latest line of conference tables, credenzas and waste receptacles, Doko, earned a 2021 Architizer A+Product Awards Special Mention for contract furniture.
In announcing the award, Architizer called the recognition an “unparalleled honor.”
Architizer strives to connect architects with great new products through its awards program.
The A+Product Awards looked at the best new lines from 2021 with a jury of practicing architects and designers from renowned firms worldwide selecting the honorees.
One of two new lines from WallGoldfinger Furniture announced so far this year, Doko was unveiled in January. The diverse line features conference tables, credenzas and waste receptacles with radiused corners, a table base with curved solid wood staves and a unique metal base ring, innovative technology integration, curved credenza and waste receptacle doors and much more.
The product name comes from the shape of the conference table base, which is reminiscent of the inverted shape of doko baskets used by porters to carry goods in regions like Nepal.
