MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Tafisa will showcase its new Lummia and Karisma collections at the 2022 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo. The three-day event runs Feb. 24-26 at the International Centre.
Lummia is a lacquered decorative panel available in high gloss or matte finishes. Lummia panels are finished at a 70,000-square-foot facility that Tafisa opened last year. The plant’s automated finishing system, which Tafisa says is the first of its kind in North America, produces decorative panels that are resistant to fingerprints, micro-scratches, and UV rays.
Karisma is a new line of textured thermally-fused laminates. The panel surfaces are processed with a random mix of brush-stroked effects and matte-infused accents to provide a more authentic look of natural woodgrains. Karisma is currently available in nine designs.
Tafisa also launched a matching program to support its Karisma and Lummia collections.
